Privacy Policy
This policy explains how ShopTool handles tool inputs, local storage, analytics, advertising, and contact information.
Last updated: 2026-11-04
Tool inputs and local storage
Most calculators and text tools process inputs directly in your browser and do not intentionally send those inputs to ShopTool servers as part of the tool operation. Please avoid entering unnecessary confidential or sensitive information.
Favorite tools and recently used tools may be stored in your browser's localStorage. These records remain on your device and can be removed by clearing the site's browser data.
Website analytics (Google Analytics)
ShopTool uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand page views, site usage, and overall traffic. Depending on browser and Google settings, Google may use cookies, device or browser identifiers, and related usage data for measurement. We use these reports to improve the tools and user experience.
Advertising (Google AdSense) and third-party technologies
ShopTool may use Google AdSense to serve ads, subject to service activation and approval. When ads are served, third parties, including Google and advertising technology partners, may place or read cookies in your browser or use web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to collect information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and, where applicable, ad personalization.
Third-party services handle the information they receive under their own policies. See Google's official information below to learn how Google uses data on partner sites.

Cookie and advertising preferences
You can manage or clear cookies and site data through your browser and manage personalized advertising preferences in Google's My Ad Center. Turning off personalized ads does not stop all ads from appearing or necessarily stop all cookies or other data processing.

Site access and external services
When you visit the site, hosting and delivery providers may process ordinary connection information, such as IP addresses, browser details, and request times, to deliver the site, maintain security, and troubleshoot problems. External websites linked from ShopTool have their own privacy practices.
Contact information
If you email us, we receive your message and sender details and use them to respond, address your inquiry, and follow up where necessary. Please do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive data.
Policy updates and questions
This policy may be updated when site features, third-party services, or applicable requirements change. The update date will appear on this page. For privacy or data-handling questions, please use our contact page.
